VTB Bank once again recognized as best trade finance provider in Russia by Global Finance

VTB Bank has been named as the best trade finance provider in Russia for the fifth time by the international publication Global Finance. An authoritative jury, which included representatives of leading banks, industry analysts, and CEOs of large companies, selected the winner based on criteria such as transaction volume, international presence, customer focus, and innovation.

A wide product range allows VTB to provide both classic trade and export finance programs and to implement innovative solutions that meet market trends, enabling the bank to support its clients’ international business in more than 45 countries around the world.

In 2020, VTB became the only Russian banking group provided financing under European state support programs to companies affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yuri Soloviev, First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank:

“I am pleased to note that over the past year, VTB Bank’s trade and export finance business has adapted quickly and effectively to new, rapidly changing conditions, and has shown excellent results for the year. Well-timed and professional response to market changes, as well as offering customers innovative products aimed at supporting their businesses, allowed us to strengthen our leadership position in the market. The high assessment awarded by international experts serves as another confirmation of the right strategy chosen, which has shown its effectiveness at a highly volatile and unpredictable time for the global economy.”
