VTB Capital enters the top 3 banks for bonds in Global Capital’s Bond Awards 2020
Global Capital has announced the winners of the annual Bond Awards 2020. According to the voting results, VTB Capital has entered the top 3 in the emerging markets in the category “Most Impressive Bank for Russian, CIS and former CIS bonds”.
Bond Awards 2020 winners are chosen by market players voting in each category. Among the nominees in the category “Most Impressive Bank for Russian, CIS and former CIS bonds”, VTB Capital was joined by JP Morgan, Citi, Societe Generale. VTB Capital was the only Russian investment bank to make it into the top three. The voting lasted for several months.

In connection with the coronavirus, the organizers of the award decided to extend the voting period and hold the ceremony online for the first time. Investment banks, issuers, investors, rating agencies, law firms traditionally took part in the voting.
