VTB Capital wins The Banker’s “Deals of the Year 2018” award
The sale transaction of Essar Oil to a consortium of investors, where VTB Capital acted as sole financial advisor to the seller, won in the “M&A Deal of the Year in Asia” nomination of The Banker magazine’s “Deals of the Year 2018” awards. The transaction volume amounted to $12.9bn. The winners are selected based on a range of criteria, including the complexity of the transaction, innovation and the deal environment.
