VTB Bank gets Global Trade Review awards


VTB has been named Best Trade Finance Bank in Eastern Europe in 2017 by the UK magazine Global Trade Review.

In 2017, VTB carried out more than 800 transactions in trade and export financing involving business partners in 50 countries. The bank financed foreign trade operations in the key sectors of the economy, including oil and gas, transport, machine engineering, chemical, metals industries and others.

VTB Bank also won in the Best Deal nomination for arranging financing of aircraft supplies for Turkish airline SunExpress. The transaction was guaranteed by Italian export credit agency SACE and became a landmark deal in the aviation finance.

This is the third time VTB wins a Global Trade Review award. The prominent UK magazine selects its winners on the basis of a detailed survey of more than 6,000 professionals working in the trade finance sector. VTB has also received awards from leading publications such as Global Finance and Trade & Forfaiting Review as the best trade finance bank in 2016−2018.
