Sergey Gavrilov

Sergey Gavrilov

Born in Moscow in 1966.

Sergey is Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Civil Society, Public Associations and Religious Organizations. From 2011 to 2016 he was a member of the Government Commission which oversees the implementation of measures to prevent the bankruptcy of strategic enterprises and companies. Honoured with awards from the state and the Russian Orthodox Church, Sergey graduated from Moscow Lomonosov State University with degrees in Economics and Law and an MA degree in Economics. Sergey has sat on the VTB Shareholders Consultative Council (SCC) since 2009..

As an SCC member, he intends to play an active role in the development of a new strategy and the development of special products for shareholders. He is married with four children.

Alexander Yenin

Alexander Yenin

Born in Moscow in 1986.

Alexander is head of the online banking development project at VTB Bank. He graduated from Russian State Social University with a degree in Software Engineering and The Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with aBA in Economics. He has worked as an IT-specialist and leading programmer at banks and bank integrators. Alexander holds a grant from the Russian Government.

As an SCC member, he intends to play an active role in the expansion of VTB minority shareholders’ involvement in VTB activities and the distribution of personalised offers via online and mobile channels. Alexander is married.

Vladimir Znamensky

Vladimir Znamensky

Born in Moscow in 1994.

Vladimir is a lawyer specialising in corporate law and corporate bankruptcies. He graduated from Moscow Lomonosov State University with a degree in Law. He is currently pursuing his postgraduate studies for a Masters e in Corporate Law. Vladimir has won several law Olympiads and law competitions and has completed courses at international law firms in various aspects of corporate law. He also organises and speaks at conferences on corporate law. He speaks English and German and is a member of Young International Arbitration Group and Russian Arbitration Association 25.

As an SCC member, he plans to improve channels of communication between VTB and its shareholders and to employ best international investor relations practices, specifically through the VTB Shareholder mobile application. Vladimir is married.

Vladimir Zotov

Vladimir Zotov

Born in Moscow in 1980.

Vladimir is Director of the Institute of Social Engineering at the Kosygin Russian State University and Assistant Professor in the Management Department. He holds a Masters in Economics and is a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering. He graduated from Moscow State University of Design and Technology and has authored 48 research papers and textbooks. He plays an active role in running regional and federal projects, including high profile public and community events. Vladimir ran as a candidate in the sixth election for the Moscow City Duma.

As an SCC member, Vladimir will work on the optimisation of the bank’s expenditure, the development of feedback mechanisms and public monitoring of the bank’s activities. He is married with two sons.

Stanislav Kleschev

Stanislav Kleschev

Born in Moscow in 1981.

Stanislav is Managing Director and Chief Analyst of VTB 24’s Investment Department. He holds a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree from Moscow Lomonosov State University He completed advanced professional training courses at the Higher School of Economics as part of the Business Education programme. Stanislav is a member of the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) Index Committee and Listing Council. He was appointed as an Independent Director to the Board of Directors of Kurganmashzavod.

Stanislav has been an SCC member since 2013.As an SCC member, Stanislav intends to maximise dividends on ordinary shares, participate in the development of a new strategy, seek more information transparency for the bank’s shareholders and contribute to the development and improvement of products and services for retail clients. He is married with two children.

Valery Petrov

Valery Petrov

Valery is Deputy Chairman of the Management Board at the Institute of Financial Markets. He is an internationally recognized analyst, financier and expert in corporate governance. He holds several university degrees, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) diploma and an MA in Economics. Valery has successful experience working in senior managerial positions and is the author of numerous publications and books on economics. He has been an SCC member since 2013 and became Chairman of the SCC on the second convocation. He is a member of the VTB Supervisory Board.

As an SCC member, he will focus on the development of a new strategy and special products for VTB shareholders.

Igor Repin

Igor Repin

Born in Moscow in 1966.

Igor is Deputy Executive Director of the Russian Association of Institutional Investors. He is also an Independent Director or professional trustee in several companies partially owned by the government and Board Chairman in two of them. Igor is a member of the Commercial Court of Moscow and Chairman of the Audit Commission at RusHydro, Rostelecom and VTB Bank. He graduated from Moscow Lomonosov State University with a degree in Geography and holds the highest category training certificate from the Moscow Federal Commission for Securities Markets. Igor has extensive experience working with shareholders of various issuers.

He has been a member of the VTB Bank Shareholders Consultative Council since 2013. As a member of the SCC, Igor will play an active role in its work. .He is married with three children.

Maxim Sergeyev

Maxim Sergeyev

Born in St Petersburg in 1979.

Maxim is an Engineer at the St Petersburg Alferov Academic University. A graduate of the Ukhta State Technical University, he is currently studying for his second university degree in financial management at St Petersburg State University’s Department of Economics. He has been a member of the VTB Bank Shareholders Consultative Council since 2013. As a member of the SCC, Maxim will play an active role in its work, contribute to the analysis of VTB’s and its subsidiaries’ activities and work on new development strategies. Maxim prioritises developments in bank functionality, introducing modern and innovative solutions, aimed at cutting costs, increasing work productivity and net profit. He plans to continue promoting the interests of minority shareholders within the SCC and work on developing special products and loyalty programmes for VTB shareholders. Maxim is married with two children.

Vadim Soskov

Vadim Soskov

Born in Moscow in 1966.

Vadim is CEO of Kapital Asset Management Group. He is awinner of Russia's Financial Elite Award for Most Senior Player on the collective investment market. He is also included in the ‘TOP 1000 Managers of Russia’ list. Vadim worked at the Russian Government Commission for Economic Reform where he campaigned for shareholders’ rights at privatised companies. He became a TACIS expert on pension reform in Russia for The World Bank. A graduate of the Moscow Lenin State Pedagogical Institute, he holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is a highly experienced teacher. He has been a member of the VTB Shareholders Consultative Council since 2013. Together with the new members of the council, Vadim plans to actively promote the interests of VTB shareholders by developing special products for shareholders on the bank platform and by maintaining regular dialogue between the bank management and shareholders. The purpose of this is to create an open platform to grow shareholder value and dividend yield of VTB shares.

Ilya Khersontsev

Ilya Khersontsev

Born in Yekaterinburg in 1977.

Ilya is a private investor. He graduated from the Urals State Technical University with a degree in IT Systems in Economics. Ilya was Head Treasurer at SKB-Bank Head of the Corporate Business Department of SB Gubernsky andDeputy Chairman of the Management Board of Bank Reserve. Ilya has completed several advanced training courses and participated in developing and promoting bank products for small and medium-sized businesses. As part of the Independent Directors Programme of the Federal Agency for State Property Management, he is a board member of several local state companies. He is a member of the Independent Directors Association (IDA) and a qualified investor. As a member of the SCC, Ilya will be involved in the development of a new strategy and special products for minority shareholders. He is married with a son and daughter.

Yelena Shafranskaya

Yelena Shafranskaya

Born in Irkutsk in 1969, Yelena is aself-employed entrepreneur.

She graduated from of the Irkutsk Polytechnical Institute with a degree in Cybernetics. Yelena has organised and held training seminars both at Baikal Bank and the Finance Ministry of the Irkutsk Region. An experienced banker, she previously headed the Securities Department of Sberbank of Russia's Baikal Bank . She has studied all areas of banking and headed the Public Debt and Securities Department in the Finance Ministry of the Irkutsk Region from whom she holds various awards and merit certificates... As a member of the SCC, Yelena will focus on consolidating VTB’s leading position, increasing its market share and consequently boosting its profits, dividends and shareholder value . She intends to work on a new strategy and to develop special products for VTB shareholders (for example, free Privilege bank cards, etc.). Yelena is married.

Yelena Shtykanova

Yelena Shtykanova

Born in Moscow in 1960.

Yelena is an adviser to the Senior Vice-President of Norilsk Nickel. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a degree in International Economic Relations g from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Foreign Ministry.. She has extensive experience working on international projects in Russia’s financial sector and corporate governance. Yelena has been a member of the VTB Shareholders Consultative Council since 2013. As a member of the SCC, she plans to work actively on the VTB Group’s strategy, corporate management issues, relations with minority shareholders and development of retail business. She also intends to promote the group’s services on the market and improve the financial literacy of VTB minority shareholders.
