The Orientation Program

The Orientation Program provides support for new employees during their probation period, helping to optimize job performance.

The employee receives information about VTB Bank and the VTB Group, their operating standards, rules and procedures.

Orientation may be conducted in two formats: in-person classes or e- learning. The e- learning format is the core of the program and is standardized for all new head office and branch employees of the bank. This format of the orientation program includes basic e-courses and e-tests, which are automatically activated when the initial hiring of an employee is formally complete.

The head of the relevant organizational unit assigns work to the new employee for each month of the probation period and regularly evaluates the employee’s performance. Orientation Program Monitoring software tracks the outcomes of the employee’s training and performance. The program gives supervisors the ability to monitor the probation period of each employee.

In addition to the e-learning format, VTB Bank conducts in-person trainings and on-the-job tutoring for new employees. Trainings and practical experience under the guidance of the bank’s professionals give employees new competence and develop their commitment to VTB Bank.
The final phase of the Orientation Program is the evaluation of the employee’s performance during the probation period and  final decision on retaining him or her at the bank.
