Yuri A. Soloviev

First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board Yuri Soloviev joined VTB in April 2008. Since May 2011, he has been First Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board.

2006 - 2008 – Head of Investment Business, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Deutsche Bank Russia;
2002 – 2006 – Director, Head of Global Markets in Russia & CIS, Deutsche Bank AG, London;
1996 – 2002 – Analyst, Executive Director at Emerging Markets Department, Bank Lehman Brothers, London;
1994 – 1996 – Dealer, Senior Dealer at Currency Trading Department, JSC INCOMBANK.

Born in 1970 in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
In 1994 he graduated from Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics, specializing in International Economic Relations and in 2002 he got an MBA at London Business School.
