A consortium of three investment banks, including VTB Capital, wins the tender for Ukraine sovereign Eurobond issue

During the visit to Ukraine of Andrei Kostin, President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board, some agreements on participation of VTB Capital (the investment division of the Group) in the issue of sovereign eurobonds for Ukraine were achieved. VTB Capital has considerable experience in Eurobond placement for CIS issuers. In 2009, VTB Capital took the lead among international and local bond arrangers in the Eastern Europe according to Dealogic. In 2010, VTB Capital continues to hold top positions among Eurobond issue organizers in the CIS. In the last decade of April 2010, VTB Capital successfully participated in the placement of Russian Federation Eurobonds.
