On 4 and 5 June 2010, under the cooperation with the Black Sea Fleet, Sevastopol will host a tour of the Pyotr Fomenko Workshop Theatre supported by VTB. The audience will see Family Happiness performance staged under the novel by Lev Tolstoy.
The first performance will be shown for free for Fleet military men and their families. The contribution from the second performance will be sent to the Sevastopol Drama Theatre named after B.A.Lavrentev, a cultural institution of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia.
The Family Happiness is a story by Tolstoy about a search for understanding in love, narrated the main character. The leading parts will be played by Kseniya Kutepova, Aleksey Kolubkov, Galina Tyunina, Ilya Lyubimov and Kirill Pirogov.
In 2001, the performance took part in the Voices of History, the International Theatre Festival in Vologda, where it was recognized as one of the best works. The same year, Kseniya Kutepova received a K.S. Stanislavsky award for the best female role. In 2002, Pyotr Naumovich Fomenko, a stage manager of the performance and theatre director received the Russian Federation State Prize. The performance was shown in France (Paris, Amience, and Havre), and in Russia (St.Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Vologda).For reference:
