Within cooperation with the Russian agricultural companies, VTB Bank has granted a RUB 300 million loan maturing in 1year to JSC Vostochniy, operating under KOMOS GROUP Ltd. The loan is secured by sovereign guarantee of the Russian Federation and the Group’s real estate.
The loan will be channeled to finance the company’s main production activities. Funding is provided within the unified credit limit set for the Group.
Cooperation between VTB and KOMOS GROUP started in 2009 and is to be enhanced with regard to lease and investment operations as well as corporate programs development for the Group’s employees.
KOMOS GROUP Ltd. manages the largest agricultural processing enterprises of its market sectors in Udmurtskaya Republic (poultry, swine breeding, meat and milk processing, mixed fodder production). The forecasted turnover in 2009 was RUB 15.5 billion. The Group development strategy is aimed at acquiring new assets, developing production facilities and network distribution, and increasing sales growth.
The member of the Group JSC Vostochniy is the largest swine complex in Udmurtiya and the second largest complex in Russia with overall capacity of 280 thousand livestock units. It is ranked 22nd in Agro-300, the rating of Russian agricultural manufacturers.
