On 4 February 2013, a delegation of VTB Bank officials headed by President and Chairman of the Management Board Andrey Kostin visited Ukraine.
Andrey Kostin met with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
The discussion covered a wide range of issues regarding financial and economic cooperation and VTB Group’s involvement in the Ukrainian economy.
Mr Kostin also met with representatives of large companies operating on the Ukrainian market. Mikhail Kuzovlev, President and Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Moscow, who was among the group, signed the indicative terms of a deal to sell 100% of its Ukrainian subsidiary, BM Bank, to Smart Group.
