On September 2, in Moscow a ceremony was held to inaugurate the Corporate University of Vneshtorgbank. The University is designed to build up the interior HR reserve and to promote management competence of the Bank’s personnel. Upon the results of a tender, 59 officers of the Bank’s head office, sub-offices and branches started studying at the University.
Among the faculty of the Vneshtorgbank’s Corporate University are top managers of Vneshtorgbank, leading economists, well-known professors and lecturers of Moscow universities, trainers and consultants, as well as business representatives.
Educational programs are primarily aimed at upgrading professionalism of middle managers and training young and promising officers forming the Bank’s interior HR reserve and having management potential. The programs include both theoretical and practical classes, to be held in the form of trainings, seminars, discussions and round-table meetings.
Citing Deputy Chairman of the Board, Igor Zavyalov, high professional standards and innovative ideas are the main keys to the company’s successful development. «Opening of Vneshtorgbank’s Corporate University is a well-expected step towards further developing and upgrading the system of personnel training in Vneshtorgbank. Corporate University is a system of in-company training based on a shared concept and methodology. It was conceived within the framework of the Bank’s Development Strategy to meet the targets facing different divisions of the Bank and is intended for managers and individuals of different levels. The mission of the Corporate University, the way we see it, is in developing professional knowledge, skills and abilities by our staff, as well as in promoting the philosophy of a leading multi-facet bank and building a team of associates consistently working in the interest of the Bank’s shareholders and customers, - said Igor Zavyalov.
