Vneshtorgbank has released the results of a competition to choose representative partners fromong Russian IT companies. According to the results of a study of the competing proposals made, the decision was made to choose the following companies as representative partners for a two year term: USP Kompulink (Avaya and IBM), Ai-Teko (HP and Microsoft), Infosistemi Jet (Sun), and Mikrotest (Cisco). An agreement is being signed at the moment by these companies, which will regulate the principles of their relationship and the cost producer indices.
The choice of the representative partners allows Vneshtorgbank to continue the development of its long-term cooperation both with large worldwide IT generators, and with the most competent Russian integrators, thereby allowing the effective support of current decisions in the field of information technology, and also to receive large corporate discounts. As well as this, in accordance with the endorsement of the board of directors of VTB`s information technology development concept, this policy will allow a series of large scale IT projects to be realised, the approximateount of which will cost 50 million USD over the next two years.
