On December 19, 2002, another supporting office of Vneshtorgbank started operating in Moscow, not far from the "Aeroport" Metro Station, and, which is only natural, got the name of "Aeroport". The exact address of the newly opened office is 60, Leningradsky Avenue.
The new office was opened in compliance with the Bank`s Strategy of the Branch Network Development.
Since the 2002 year-start, Vneshtorgbank has already launched eight new branches in such Russian cities and towns as Tomsk, Tambov, Yakutsk, Yaroslavl, Kazan, Omsk, Ufa, and Kursk, with their number now totaling 42.
Five supporting offices of the Bank started operating in Moscow region in 2002, and a new one is to be opened before the year-end near the "Paveletskaya" Metro Station. By January 1, 2003, their number will reach 14.
In 2002, having gained a more solid geographical footprint and operating through a considerably enhanced network of branches and supporting offices, Vneshtorgbank succeeded in increasing its Russian banking market share by 10 percent in servicing corporate customers, and twofold - in servicing individuals.
By December 1, 2002, the household deposits held with Vneshtorgbankounted to RUR 14.2 billion (against RUR 6.4 billion as of January 1, 2002). More importantly, nine new services will be offered to our customers.
In 2003, the Bank plans to open seven branches in Tolyatty, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Kemerovo, Smolensk, Ryazan and Vologda. Besides, seventeen new supporting offices will start operating in Moscow and the Moscow region, with five of them to be launched in the first quarter of 2003.
