PJSC “Post Bank” is a universal retail bank established in January 2016 by VTB Group and Russian Post based on Leto Bank.
“Post Bank” targets a wide range of customers, offering services and products, such as: savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, payment services and bank transfers, mobile and online banking, debit and credit cards, a broad selection of loans, pension savings accounts, insurance and service packages.
Created to improve the accessibility of financial services in Russia, “Post Bank” operates as a socially responsible institution. It also aims to grow the number of non-cash transactions in the country’s economy.
The bank is developing its network by opening branches within post offices operated by Russian Post. In 2016, the bank is expected to launch some 6,000 locations in 3,500 post offices. By 2018, the bank will be present in 15,000 Russian Post offices across the country. Leto Bank’s regional network of 338 client centres, 283 stands and over 46,000 POS terminals will continue to operate under the new brand.
The bank will operate in post offices under one of the following three formats: 1) An in-store bank branch with an ATM inside large post offices, 2) A bank desk with a POS terminal inside small post offices (these will cover a high percentage of the population), 3) A specially trained post office employee offering banking products inside post offices with low client flow.
