VTB accepts time deposits in Russian Rubles and foreign currencies, savings (replenishable) deposits, and demand deposits with advance notice. Corporate customers are offered overnight deposits to allow them to place idle funds for a daytime period.

Customers can use VTB bills to gain additional income, to effect settlements with counteragents, and as collateral to get bank guarantees or loans.

Besides, VTB issues in the name of its corporate customers and redeems registered Certificate of Deposits, as well as Bearer Deposit Certificates in Russian rubles. These non-issue grade securities allow their holders to gain income through placing idle funds under a fixed interest rate applied to the whole maturity term.
