Custody

VTB offers the following products and services:

• Opening and handling custody accounts, inter-custodian custody accounts, trustee's custody accounts, issue-grade custody accounts, pledgee's custody accounts.
• Safekeeping and discount of titles to securities, including securities certificates, registration of legal title to equity shares in the shareholders' register.
• Settlement of securities trading on DFP (delivery-free-of-payment) and DVP (delivery-versus-payment) basis, including through VTB clearing accounts with international clearing centers such as Euroclear Bank, Clearstream Banking and other foreign custodians.
• Earning and payment of dividend, interest and other income related to securities.
• Support to corporate action of securities issuers, in particular, serving notices to the customers on corporate action and their implications (equity share splitting and consolidation; equity share and bond conversion; securities cancellation and voiding; income earned in the form of securities; takeovers, mergers, dissolutions, divisions of shareholding companies, etc.); access to the Information System on securities held in custody with the Bank, issuers and corporate actions; granting voting proxies at shareholders' general meetings.
• Imposing or lifting securities blackouts.
• Opening and handling current (clearing) accounts in foreign currencies intended for settlements in securities.
• Handling and accounting of liens on securities.
• Payment agent services on corporate bonds.
• Promissory note domiciliation.
• Submitting promissory notes for repayment.
• Cost estimates for customer's securities portfolio.
• Access to periodic financial reporting.
• Special custody services for investment funds, mutual funds and the National Pension Fund.
• Handling a register of participation unit owners at mutual funds.
• Authentication of promissory notes and their legality.
• Legal consulting, including tax matters.
