Accounts Opening and Payments

The Bank opens the following types of accounts for our customers:
  • Settlement Accounts shall be openedfor legal entities, entrepreneurs and individuals engaged in private practice;
  • Budget accounts shall be opened for budget and non-governmental organizations that are recipients of budgetary funds;
  • Trust Management Accounts shall be opened to a trust manager to perform settlements related to trust management activities.
  • Deposit accounts for courts, officers of justice, law machinery, notaries public shall be opened for acceptance of funds for temporary use;
  • Accumulation Accounts shall be opened for crediting funds against payment for the authorized capital of limited liability companies before their state registration.
  • Special Bank Accounts (accounts of a paying agent, broker’s account and others).

You can open an account in any of the offices or regional branches of our Bank. It takes 3 to 5 days to open an account, provided all the necessary documents are submitted.

High level of professionalism of our staff, broad network of branches, use of SWIFT system enable us to execute high quality and fast payments throughout the world.

VTB Bank accepts payment documents:

  • to be executed on the same day: in Russian rubles until 17-00 (until 18-00 in some branches) in foreign currency until 16-00 (until 18-00 in some branches);
  • for ruble transfers to be executed in real time using bank electronic speed payments (BESP) system of Bank of Russia (additional fee service, service is provided when payment documents marked as “urgent” are received during operational hours);
  • for ruble transfers to be sent with 1st or 2nd streams (additional fee service, available in Moscow and Moscow region when receiving payment documents marked as “priority payment” before 10-30 to be sent with the 1st stream and before 13-30 to be sent with the 2nd stream);
  • to be executed during non-operational hours (additional fee service, available in Moscow and Moscow region when payment documents masked as “payment during non-operational hours” are received between 17-00 and 18-00).

We constantly work on improving services to our clients and, in addition to traditional payment operations, we offer You the following:

Periodical transfers in rubles from settlement accounts. Bank independently and on a periodical basis transfers a certain amount of assets in rubles from client’s account to another account, information on frequency and goal of transfers as well as on account of recipient are specified in Additional agreement to Agreement on banking account.

Payments can be transferred to client own account in the Bank as well as accounts of third parties:

- opened with the Bank at servicing office;

- opened with the Bank’s other regional offices;

- opened with other crediting organizations.

This service would be of an interest for clients who make regular payments, for example rent, payments for communication services, fees for using reference books and juristic directories or other periodical payments.

Acceptance of payment documents by a third party. This service allows clients with a network of branches or holding structure to accept payment documents electronically (from a distance) for regional branches or subsidiaries and, thus, enables centralized control for financial streams in real time.

Electronic banking services.

For out Clients we offer the following types of payments:

  • In Russian rubles: direct transfers in Moscow and Moscow region, payments within and between regions, wire and postal transfers through payment system of the Bank of Russia, urgent payments using system of bank electronic speed payments of Bank of Russia (BESP)
  • In foreign currencies: in hard, clearing or soft currencies with use of any telecommunications channel convenient for the client.

For payments in Russian rubles and foreign currencies we accept payment documents to be processed on the same day during operational hours of the Bank.

For making the process of settling payments easier and faster we offer our clients Electronic banking system. Our Electronic banking system provides You with an opportunity to handle a wide range or operations electronically right from Your office: You would not have to send hard copies of documents to the Bank to execute operation with Your account.
