Bank Guarantee Application Samples

To apply for a guarantee, the Customer shall submit to VTB Bank the following documents:

  • Bank Guarantee Offer/Letter in 3 (Three) copies which can be based on samples referred to in this Section (The Offer/Letter shall be executed on the Company's letterhead, signed by authorized persons and bear the Company's seal, with both the signatures and the seal matching those specified in the Signature and Seal Sample Card submitted to the Bank);
  • Draft Guarantee signed by the Company's head and chief accountant, and bearing the Company's seal;
  • a duly certified copy of a contract or the tender's terms and conditions.

In addition, other documents can also be requested (e.g. documents confirming the legal capacity of the Customer, or terms of reference of its authorized persons, or the Company's financial statements).

If the Customer is an joint-stock company and the deal is estimated as a large one, the Bank shall request to provide duly certified copies of documents confirming that guarantee operations are approved according to the procedure set in the Company's Charter.

In compliance with Article 18 of Federal Law No.161-FZ "On State and Municipal Unitary Enterprises" dated 14 November 2002, state enterprises cannot enter into any bank guarantee related deals without a prior approval of its owner. Therefore, if a Customer is a unitary enterprise, it should submit a relative approval of its owner.
