Executing payments for sales and service organizations
Bank VTB offers to sales and service organizations an acquiring service, which enables to accept cards of international payment systems such as Visa International, MasterCard International, China UnionPay, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club International.
Key benefits of acquiring services for sales and service organizations:
- broadening of client base due to attracting card holders (including foreigners) and, hence, an increase in trade turnover;
- shortening of time for acceptance of payments and, hence, shorter lines and better servicing of clients;
- improving an image of organization and provision of options on the world market level;
- decrease of risks related to encashment, recalculation of keeping of cash;
- safety of operations.
VTB offers sales and service organizations a wide range of acquiring services based on their sphere of activities:
- standard payments using cards – is used when payment takes place at the moment or getting goods/services. This service is mainly used by supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, beauty saloons etc.
- booking hotel rooms and paying for staying – is used when rooms are booked over the phone or fax and are paid upon check out. It also can be used in absence of a client, when he checked out without paying in full. This service is mainly used by hotels and travel agencies (for booking)
- booking autos and paying car rentals – is used for booking vehicles over the phone or fax, paying car rent, car repairs if damaged while rental period, fines and so on. Payments can be processes without physical presence of a client in accordance to rental agreement (for example information on fines can be received a few month after the end of car rental period). This service is mainly used by car renting organization and hotels that provide car rental services.
- paying for goods or services ordered through post services or fax (one-time payments) – is used by sales and service organization what provide goods/services, which were ordered using postal services or fax. In some cases receiving or goods also takes place at the post office. This service is mainly used by mail order organizations, flower salons and etc.
- paying for goods or services on a regular basis (recurrent payments) – is used by sales and service organizations what provide goods/services on a regular basis and, usually, for a certain period of time. This service is mainly for providers of cell phone services, cable TV services, internet and etc.
Once agreement on acquiring services with sales or trading organization is signed:
- Bank provides hardware and software as well as consumable supplies necessary for making payments;
- Bank trains organization’s personnel on all the issuers related to acceptance of bank cards for payments;
- Bank executes payments to a client in accordance with conditions specified in agreement, compensation time is no longer than 2 working days following the day when payment information on operations was submitted to the Bank;
- Bank provides 24/7 service support over the phone.
